This was kind of a test image with a new filter I decided to give a try. The Antlia ALP-T Dual Narrowband 5nm filter. I'm planing on a review/comparison of this filter with my IDAS NBZ. The moon was full on one night of imaging and about 95% the second night, so I'm quite pleased with how much contrast there was given how bright the moon was.
One thing that has been said about this filter is it gives halos on bright stars. I did have 2 halos on the 2 stars on the left side of the image, in which I used a mask to help out with them, using Charles Bracken Halo mask technique. I was surprised at how well it worked, and it only takes 3 minutes to do.
